This year I'm going to be happier than the last...
New year apparently means new resolutions. I'm trying to think of my resolution/s as my theme or motto for life, at least this part of my life. My overall arching theme is to Finish Things, i.e. finish bottles of lotion that are scattered around my apartment, organizing my closet, decorating the apartment, finishing up crafting projects, etc. I figure this motto will help me keep things moving and keep me motivated because there's always something in my apartment that I need to finish. I also have 10 basic and more traditional resolutions below. What are your resolutions/mottos/themes for this year?
1. Drink more water
2. Travel more-near or far it's an adventure!
3. Learn how to parallel park-seriously I'm terrified of hitting a parked car or any car
4. Buy none or only one new clothing/accessory for myself a month
5. Shop my own closet
6. Use up what I already have like all the bottles/containers of lotion before buying new bottles
7. Move out/reduce most of our stuff so that the landlord can remodel the apartment
8. Take more photos and record more video clips of family, friends, and myself
9. Stop being a hoarder-hahah! Seriously it's so hard for me to throw things away-I can find a reason to keep anything because of that "someday I'll use this" moment I tend to have.
10. And finally make exercise a lifetime habit because prevention is the way to go.
I also figure trying to be happier this year than the last for the rest of my life will end up with me being a deliriously happy 90 year old in the future. Yay!
