Keep it simple baby...

For the past week I've been looking for a simple white dish set with four settings for less than $100.  I want them to be all white, durable for everyday use, microwave & dishwasher safe.  And since it's an entire set I've been debating between compromising and getting something that I don't competely love but is affordable or to wait and keep searching. I was almost ready to bite the bullet a few times until I found the "one".  Here's some of the dish sets that I was considering.

The Corelle Winter Frost White was the most affordable and were hard to pass up because I know how reliable the plates are, but alas I was hoping for a rounder bowl like the ones below.

The Aida Loft 20 Piece Dinnerware Set is great because it comes with a serving plate and bowl.  You can have dinner right out of the box, remember to make dinner though.  There are even salt and pepper shakers!

This Dansk Edesia Set was almost perfect as well.  I wanted plates that were even flatter and simpler, but the bowls and mugs were just right!
The Quadro 16 Piece Dinnerware Set also has a nice round bowl, but the plates were too square for me.

The Casa Moda Portico 65 Piece Dinnerware Set which has service for 12 was the ultimate in that not only is it dinner in a box but it's a party in a box too!  Dinner for 12 for less than $70-amazing! I almost got this set because it was such a great deal but the dishes weren't perfect yet.

And then I found these!
They are the Hoverkraft line from Gourmet Settings.  Yes you read right, hoverkraft! I thought they looked so interesting and unique I had to get them! They're called hoverkraft because they "hover" above the dinner table.  Now all I need is new flatware to go with my new dishes!  What's some dinnerware that you've been eyeing lately?  I've also been cyberstalking the Chirp line by Lenox.
